Gary Neville: PSG Remains Favorites for Champions League Despite Arsenal’s Premier League Triumph
Manchester United legend Gary Neville contends that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will continue to be favorites in the UEFA Champions League, even after Arsenal secured the Premier League title on Sunday.
During a recent episode of “The Gary Neville Podcast,” he emphasized PSG’s distinct superiority, suggesting that Arsenal will face significant challenges moving forward.
Neville pointed to PSG’s current manager, Luis Enrique, whom he described as potentially the best in the world. He expressed concern for Arsenal, stating, “It’s going to be tough for them, I will be honest with you, because I think that PSG are a different level.”
Additionally, Neville characterized PSG’s leadership as embodying a relentless drive for victory, noting that their management is comprised of “maniac-type managers that are just winners, serial winners.” He added that these leaders possess an aggressive mindset focused on success.
“Luis Enrique is one of the greatest, probably the greatest manager in the world right now,” Neville asserted.
