Arsenal Prepares for Champions League Final Against PSG
London — Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed confidence in his team’s ability to compete against Paris Saint-Germain during the upcoming Champions League final, scheduled for May 30.
Arsenal secured their place in the final after defeating Atletico Madrid with a 2-1 aggregate score. PSG advanced by holding Bayern Munich to a 1-1 draw in the second leg, having previously won 5-4 at their home ground.
Arteta acknowledged the challenges posed by both PSG and Bayern Munich, suggesting that either team would have presented a formidable matchup for Arsenal.
“It is what it is,” Arteta said during a press conference on Friday. “We know the level of the opposition we have to face, whether it’s PSG or Bayern Munich. We are aware of the quality they possess, but we are also very confident that when we get to that moment, we will deliver what we need to.”
