Unity Cup: Nakamba declares Zimbabwe ready for Super Eagles showdown

Zimbabwe Prepares for Unity Cup Semi-Final Against Nigeria

LONDON — Zimbabwe’s captain, Marvelous Nakamba, expressed optimism as the team gears up for their Unity Cup semi-final match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles. The contest is scheduled for Tuesday night at the Valley.

The Warriors arrived in Birmingham last Thursday to begin their preparations for the invitational tournament before moving to London on Sunday. Nakamba stated that the team has adequately prepared for the challenge posed by Nigeria, a three-time African champion.

“We’ve been preparing well for the match against Nigeria,” Nakamba said. “I think everyone is pushing each other in training, the morale is high, and we are looking forward to the game. Hopefully, all Zimbabweans will come out in numbers to support us.”

The match is set to kick off at 7:30 PM Nigerian time.
