WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons to play group stage matches in Rabat
The Super Falcons of Nigeria, the defending champions, will compete exclusively in Rabat during the group stage of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, according to reports from DAILY POST.
Coached by Justine Madugu, the team is placed in Group C alongside first-time contenders Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt. The Super Falcons will begin their tournament on July 28, facing the Malawi Scorchers at Al Madina Stadium.
Their second match is scheduled for August 1, also at Al Madina Stadium, where they will take on Zambia. The final group match against Egypt is set to take place four days later at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
Should Nigeria finish atop their group, they will advance to the quarter-finals, which will also be hosted in Rabat, against the runners-up from Group D.
The tournament will run from July 26 to August 16, 2026, across various venues in Morocco.
