Arsenal vs Man City: ‘They’ll collapse’ – Evra names team that’ll not win EPL title

Patrice Evra Predicts Arsenal Will Fall Short in Title Race

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has cast doubt on Arsenal’s ability to secure the Premier League title this season. During a recent episode of the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Evra suggested that the Gunners are likely to “collapse” in the title race against Manchester City.

Arsenal suffered a setback on Sunday, losing 2-1 to Manchester City. Despite having spent 207 days at the top of the league, their lead has now dwindled to three points, with Manchester City holding a game in hand.

“I don’t see Arsenal holding on,” Evra said. “In the last three games, they will collapse.” He expressed concerns about the team’s capacity to handle the pressure of the title race, stating, “I don’t sense any personality in this team that can manage that pressure.”

Evra acknowledged that his assessment might not align with all views, saying he could be mistaken and emphasizing that his remarks should not be misinterpreted as personal bias against Arsenal. “City will continue to push forward,” he added. “They demonstrate that they are superior to Arsenal, and they will prove it once more.”

If Arsenal fails to clinch the title this season, it would mark their fourth consecutive season of near misses in their quest for the Premier League championship, leaving them still seeking a title since 2001-2002.
