Wenger Confident Arsenal Can Still Secure Premier League Title

Former Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger expressed confidence that his old club can still clinch the Premier League title, despite recent setbacks that saw the Gunners drop six points in consecutive matches.

Arsenal suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Bournemouth last week, followed by another 2-1 loss against Manchester City on Sunday. The losses left Arsenal vulnerable, as Manchester City can overtake them in the standings with a victory over Burnley at Turf Moor this Wednesday.

Speaking on the Twinning Project, Wenger asserted his belief that Arsenal will rise to the top for the first time in 22 years. “I believe that Arsenal will win the league. I deeply believe,” he stated.

Wenger highlighted the attacking potential of players like Eberechi Eze, Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz, and Noni Madueke, noting their offensive intent during the match against Manchester City. He also suggested that Manchester City may struggle to maintain a flawless run to the finish. “Manchester City will not make the perfect run-in,” Wenger remarked.
