Valencia and Real Mallorca Play to 1-1 Draw in LaLiga Match
VALENCIA, Spain — Umar Sadiq scored for Valencia as the team secured a 1-1 draw against Real Mallorca in their LaLiga matchup on Tuesday night.
Mallorca took an early lead in the second half when Samu Costa found the net just four minutes after the break. Sadiq equalized for Valencia in the 67th minute, finishing a well-crafted move initiated by Javi Guerra.
Both teams had opportunities to secure a win, but several chances went unconverted in what was a competitive encounter. Sadiq played the full match for Valencia.
The 29-year-old forward, who joined Valencia from Real Sociedad in January, has recorded two goals and two assists in 14 league appearances this season under head coach Carlos Corberán.
