Ranchers Bees and Jigawa Golden Stars Face Off for Final Promotion Spot
In a critical matchup for the Nigeria National League (NNL), Ranchers Bees and Jigawa Golden Stars will contend for the last promotion slot to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on Wednesday.
Doma United, Inter Lagos, and Sporting Lagos have already secured their places in the NPFL, having qualified from the league’s other three conferences.
Ranchers Bees currently lead the Conference D standings with 20 points and will play away against Gombe United. A draw at the Pantami Stadium will suffice for Ranchers Bees to clinch their promotion.
Conversely, Gombe United is in dire need of a win to evade relegation.
Jigawa Golden Stars are positioned third in Conference D, holding 18 points. They will face Kebbi United, who are also battling to avoid being relegated. Jigawa must secure a victory to maintain any hope of returning to the top tier of Nigerian football.
