Burnley Relegated from Premier League After Defeat to Manchester City
Burnley has officially become the second team relegated from the Premier League this season following a 1-0 loss to Manchester City on Wednesday night at Turf Moor.
Erling Haaland scored the only goal of the match just six minutes into play. Despite City failing to extend their lead, the victory allowed them to move ahead of Arsenal in the league standings.
The defeat marks an immediate return to the Championship for Burnley, under the management of Scott Parker. They join Wolverhampton Wanderers, who were the first team to be relegated earlier this week after Crystal Palace drew 0-0 with West Ham on Monday.
