Super Eagles Striker Victor Osimhen Commits to Galatasaray
ISTANBUL — Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, has affirmed his commitment to Galatasaray, stating he is not considering a departure from the club.
The 27-year-old Nigerian forward, who transferred to Galatasaray for €75 million last year, expressed contentment with his situation in Istanbul, referring to the club as a place he can call home.
Osimhen has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Arsenal, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, amid speculation regarding a possible summer exit. However, he emphasized the strong bond he shares with the club and its supporters.
“God has put me on that path to prepare me for the greatness I’m in right now,” Osimhen told journalist Onah Kosisochukwu. “It’s what shaped me into the kind of man I am today, and I’ve enjoyed so much in my career so far.”
He continued, “I think I’ve found a home here where I am comfortable, as are my family and a few close friends. This club is family. It’s love, unity, and utmost respect, not just for the player but for everyone associated with them.”
