IBADAN — Shooting Stars forward Lucky Emmanuel expressed optimism following his two goals in a 3-2 victory over Nasarawa United on Sunday at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasinga.
Emmanuel’s goals marked a significant moment in a season where he has now scored five times in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
“My goals against Nasarawa United will bring the confidence back,” Emmanuel told 3SCfanstv. “It’s been a while without a goal, but this helps me as we look to the end of the campaign.”
He emphasized the importance of contributing to the team’s objectives. “We really needed the goals, and I’m privileged to be in a position to help the team achieve our season objectives.”
