Pep Guardiola Expresses Desire to Coach Neymar

Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed a strong desire to have coached Brazilian forward Neymar. In a recent interview, Guardiola reflected on his managerial career, which includes stints with several football legends such as Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Erling Haaland, and Kevin De Bruyne.

Guardiola, who departed FC Barcelona in 2012, missed the opportunity to guide Neymar, who joined the club the following year in 2013. According to a report by OKX, Guardiola lamented the missed chance, stating, “Always, I would have loved, as a manager, to coach Neymar.”

He went on to praise Neymar’s exceptional skills, recalling the forward’s prime years at Barcelona alongside Messi and Luis Suárez under coach Luis Enrique. “They were unstoppable,” Guardiola remarked.
