Mohamed Salah’s Agent Denies Besiktas Reports
Former Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, dismissed rumors on Friday suggesting that his client has reached an agreement to join Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas.
Earlier reports indicated that Salah had settled terms with the Istanbul-based team. However, Abbas Issa clarified the situation, asserting that no decision regarding Salah’s future has been made.
In a statement on social media platform X, Abbas Issa stated, “I personally do not know where Mohamed will play next season. What does that tell you?” He further emphasized that they do not engage in discussions with clubs that Salah would not consider for the sake of publicity.
Salah departed Liverpool at the conclusion of last season and recently represented Egypt in the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Egypt was eliminated from the tournament after losing to Argentina in the knockout stage.
