Transfer: I’m flabbergasted – Paul Merson names two players Arsenal should sign as Trossard’s replacement

Arsenal Legend Recommends New Signings Following Trossard Departure
Former Arsenal player Paul Merson has suggested two potential replacements for Leandro Trossard after the winger’s recent transfer to Beşiktaş.
Trossard, who played for Arsenal for a brief period, has left the Premier League club to join the Turkish Super Lig team on a permanent basis. Merson expressed disappointment over the sale, criticizing the financial terms and questioning the rationale behind the move.
In his column for Sky Sports, Merson urged Arsenal to seek either Désiré Doué or Bradley Barcola, both wingers currently with Paris Saint-Germain.
“Arsenal will have to go and get another left winger. They need to try and sign either Désiré Doué or Bradley Barcola from PSG,” Merson stated. He expressed disbelief over Trossard’s departure, remarking, “I cannot believe they sold Leandro Trossard. I’m flabbergasted by it. They sold him for the price of a cup of tea.”
Arsenal’s search for a suitable replacement will be closely watched as the club aims to bolster its squad amid ongoing competitive demands.
