FCT Minister’s Daughter Graduates from Southampton University
LONDON — Dignitaries, including several governors and federal lawmakers, gathered Wednesday for the graduation ceremony of Jazmyne Wike, daughter of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike, at Southampton University. Jazmyne received a Bachelor of Laws degree with Upper Second-Class Honours.
Accompanying the minister were his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, and other notable guests. The event highlighted the family’s commitment to education and showcased their connections within political circles.
Notable attendees included Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, presidential candidate Prof. Sandy Onor of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees. Additionally, Aaron Chukwuemeka, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, and Rivers State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Hon. Kingsley Chinda were also present.
Other influential figures included Hon. Marcus Nle Ejii, Executive Director of Projects for the South South Development Commission, and Hon. Victor Obuzor, a member of the House of Representatives from Rivers State. Eric Osagie, publisher of This Nigeria Newspapers, was in attendance as well.
