Transfer: Mourinho angry as Barcelona hijack Real Madrid’s move for Rodri

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has expressed frustration as Barcelona appears poised to sign Rodri from Manchester City this summer.
Mourinho had advocated for Rodri’s acquisition, aiming to strengthen his midfield. However, Barcelona has reportedly surged ahead in negotiations and is seeking to finalize the deal swiftly.
Rodri, who is in the final months of his current contract, has been awaiting Real Madrid’s initiation of discussions. Meanwhile, Los Blancos have prioritized extending the contract of Vinícius Júnior, amid notable interest from Arsenal.
Manchester City has also indicated a desire to retain Rodri and extend his contract, but indications suggest he may soon depart from the Etihad Stadium.
