WAFCON 2026: Super Falcons arrive Casablanca for Cameroon quarter-final
Nigeria’s Super Falcons are set to arrive in Casablanca today in preparation for their quarter-final match against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium on Sunday, with kickoff at 6 p.m. Nigerian time.
Earlier today, the Super Falcons conducted a training session at the ASFAR training center in Rabat as they finalize their preparations for the pivotal encounter.
Should the team advance to the semi-finals, they will return to Rabat to face either the host Atlas Lionesses of Morocco or Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
In the group stage, the defending champions played all three of their matches in Rabat against Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt, finishing second in their group behind Malawi. Cameroon topped Group D with seven points, outpacing the Black Queens of Ghana.
