Cristiano Ronaldo Talks Future of Sons’ Football Career
Football great Cristiano Ronaldo recently shared his thoughts on the promising future of his eldest son’s football career after observing him during a training session with Al-Nassr, a club in the Saudi Pro League.
At 16, Cristiano Jr. is already making his mark, having been selected for the Portuguese national youth teams, including the under-15 squad in 2025 and advancing to the under-16 team in early 2026.
Ronaldo praised his son’s character, stating, “He’s a good kid. Honest, a good kid.” He noted that Cristiano Jr. is physically larger than he was at the same age, which could aid in his development as a player.
“The hunger is the most challenging aspect,” Ronaldo added. He emphasized the importance of determination in his son’s journey, stating that while Cristiano Jr. is strong, the younger siblings exhibit tougher characteristics.
Cristiano Ronaldo, recognized as one of the greatest footballers of all time, continues to play at a high level for both club and country at the age of 41. Expectations for his son will likely be substantial due to Ronaldo’s illustrious career.
