Transfer: Chelsea confirm deal for two players
Chelsea Football Club announced on Tuesday the completion of loan agreements for two players: goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen and defender Ishe Samuels-Smith.
In a statement on its official website, Chelsea confirmed that Jorgensen has secured a season-long loan to Ligue 1 club Strasbourg. The 24-year-old goalkeeper joined Chelsea in the summer of 2024 and has made 36 appearances for the club over the past two seasons. “We look forward to supporting Filip throughout his time in France,” the statement read.
Similarly, Chelsea disclosed that Samuels-Smith has joined Notts County on loan for the 2026-27 season. The 20-year-old defender joined Chelsea from Everton in 2023. Last season, he spent time on loan at Swansea City in the Championship, where he made eight appearances for the Welsh side.
