I had no doubt Adeleke would be re-elected – Elder brother Deji

Deji Adeleke, the elder brother of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, expressed confidence in his sibling’s re-election despite facing formidable challengers for the governorship.
Governor Adeleke was declared the winner of the Osun gubernatorial election on Sunday. In a video recorded during a victory celebration that same night, Deji Adeleke attributed his belief in his brother’s success to his dedication to prayer.
“I don’t discuss with anybody. I do it in the corner of my room,” he said. “I do this every day. So, I was not worried. I had no doubt in my mind that Ademola will win. Ademola will overcome.”
Deji further explained his spiritual practices, stating, “I fortify myself with the power of the Almighty God every day. And on the days that I fast, I’ll do it three times a day. Nobody knows. I don’t discuss with anybody.”
Commenting on the opposition, he remarked, “Let them come with all the battalions, withdraw the Army, and bring all the money from the Central Bank. Nobody is above God Almighty.”
He added, “He [the opposition] comes with his wickedness and the power that he thinks he has because he’s connected to the Presidency. But Ademola comes against them in the power of the Almighty God.”
Deji also stated that he had prayed for the governor’s protection and victory, declaring, “He dances and praises your name. So, Lord Almighty, God, the owner of the universe, show up for him.”
