Governors, First Ladies, and dignitaries from across the nation will gather in Ogun State on Tuesday for the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme. This initiative will focus on distributing food items to vulnerable and indigent residents of the state.

The launch is set to take place in Makun, Sagamu, and is expected to draw significant participation from key stakeholders across the country. The initiative aims to bolster the Federal Government’s social intervention efforts and provide vital support to households in need.

Leading the distribution efforts will be Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who will also oversee several related activities during her visit.

According to a statement from Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Information and Strategy, Senator Tinubu is slated to commission the 108-unit Muhammadu Buhari Estate in Kobape, Abeokuta, during her visit.

Additionally, she will inaugurate the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, a new 250-bed facility designed to offer advanced healthcare services to residents of Ogun State and surrounding areas.

Senator Tinubu’s itinerary also includes a meeting with major stakeholders at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Kuto, Abeokuta.
