Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has disclosed the primary reason behind his ongoing conflict with fellow artist Odumodublvck. This revelation comes a year after Odumodublvck claimed that their disagreement extends beyond mere musical rivalry.

In June 2025, following the release of a diss track aimed at him, Odumodublvck addressed the feud on social media platform X, stating, “You want to make it about studio. Na lie. We go meet again for the street. You know the level. This is not rap beef. Na me and you for this world.”

The situation escalated in June 2026 when Odumodublvck accused Blaqbonez of sexual abuse and alleged that the music industry is facilitating a cover-up.

During a video interview with media personality Rufai Oseni, Blaqbonez explained the origins of their conflict. “Odumodu and I were with a girl at the same time, but I didn’t know she was with him too around the same time we met,” he stated. He detailed an incident where the girl contacted his manager with threats to ruin his career.

Blaqbonez continued, “Odumodublvck accused me on the phone of disturbing his babe. And I’m like how? I told him that I’m not disturbing his babe. We had a thing and she sent me a weird message, and I just called her to know why she sent me this message, but she didn’t pick my calls and I blocked her.”

He emphasized his efforts to distance himself from the girl after realizing the complexities of the situation, saying, “When I found out it was you, I didn’t speak with her again since then. I have avoided the girl.”

The rapper also recounted an exchange with Odumodublvck wherein he was asked about his last intimate encounter with the girl. Blaqbonez replied, “Bro, I don’t know what she told you so I can’t answer this question and affect anything that you guys have.” He characterized his relationship with the woman as a “friend with benefits,” clarifying that it was not an official relationship.
