Singer Brymo Alleges Colleagues’ Involvement in Secret Cult Incident

Nigerian singer Brymo has publicly accused fellow musicians 2Face, Burna Boy, and Davido of complicity in his alleged coercion into a secret cult during an incident in 2019. The allegations were made during a recent appearance on the ‘Lahor Talk’ podcast.

This statement follows a previous exchange between Brymo and Burna Boy, the latter of whom had mocked Brymo’s career in a diss track, stating, “Hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo.” Brymo responded to the remark last July, asserting his intention to retaliate, regardless of Burna Boy’s affiliations.

During the podcast, Brymo elaborated on the circumstances surrounding the cult incident, claiming he was lured to a Chevron event under the pretense of being hosted. He alleged that he faced pressure to join a cult during that gathering, where he asserts the three artists’ names were mentioned by those attempting to recruit him.

When asked whether he could forgive Burna Boy if offered an apology, Brymo interrupted, clarifying that he was not seeking an apology but instead wanted acknowledgment of their knowledge regarding the events that transpired at Chevron.

“I want them to tell me that they truly don’t know about what happened to me at Chevron or not,” Brymo stated, adding that the incident marked its seventh anniversary this year.

He challenged 2Face, Davido, and Burna Boy to deny the allegations, emphasizing their silence over the years as a tacit admission of involvement. “I will keep saying it until it destroys your legacy completely,” he warned.

The ongoing dispute underscores a complex relationship between Brymo and these prominent figures in the Nigerian music industry, as allegations continue to unfold in the public eye.
