My husband threatened to leave me if I don’t stop smoking – Toyin Abraham

Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has opened up about her past struggles with smoking and the influence of her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, on her decision to quit.
In a recent appearance on The Moraya Show, Abraham disclosed that she was previously addicted to cigarettes. She recounted a pivotal moment when Ajeyemi warned her that their marriage could be at risk if she did not stop smoking. Recognizing the importance of her relationship, she ultimately decided to quit cigarettes.
“I used to be a cigarette addict, but he warned me that if I don’t stop smoking our marriage won’t work. I had to stop it because I valued my marriage,” Abraham said. She went on to commend Ajeyemi for his support and positive impact on her life and career, noting, “My husband is one of the best things that ever happened to me. He lets me shine and be me.”
Despite quitting cigarettes, Abraham admitted that she still vapes. She emphasized that her husband is not controlling and encourages her to pursue her happiness, as long as it remains safe.
