Nobody can stop my Oga from visiting Edo – Israel DMW fumes over Okpebholo’s ban on Davido

Edo Official Claims Davido Banned from Performing, Logistics Manager Disputes
Israel DMW, logistics manager for Nigerian singer Davido, has asserted that no authority can prevent the artist from performing in Edo State. His remarks follow statements made by Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo regarding a purported ban on Davido.
Apostle Kassy Chukwu, the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, announced in a video posted Friday that Davido would be banned from performing in the state due to an online dispute with the governor during the Osun State governorship election.
In response to Chukwu’s announcement, Israel, who hails from Edo, contended that Davido, whose mother is from the state, should not be prohibited. He characterized Chukwu as an outsider from Ebonyi who has become a disruptive presence in Benin City.
Israel shared Chukwu’s image on Instagram and expressed his views about the official’s status in the community. He stated, “He’s from Ebonyi State, and not from Edo. A real settler who has become a nuisance in Benin City. Kindly disregard what he’s saying. No man on this planet can ban Oga from Edo, his maternal home.”
As of now, the situation remains contentious, with Israel maintaining that Davido’s ties to Edo State protect him from any ban.
