Woman found beheaded in Adamawa community

A 38-year-old woman was found murdered in Adamawa State, with reports indicating that her head was missing. The victim, identified as Susuti Denhan, was allegedly killed by a suspected ritualist in Girei, the same community where a similar incident occurred earlier in the week.
According to information obtained on Saturday evening, the incident took place on Friday in the Unguwan Abuja area of Girei Local Government. Denhan, who was reportedly deaf, left her home on Friday, August 21, but did not return, prompting her family to initiate a search.
On Saturday, the search party discovered her lifeless body without its head on a nearby mountain. The Adamawa State Police Command had not provided a response to inquiries regarding the incident as of Saturday evening, shortly before 8 p.m.
