Poco Lee on remand in UK prison, court date set for September

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is currently in custody at a prison in the United Kingdom, with a court appearance set for the second week of September, according to community advocate Oluomo of Derby.
Oluomo confirmed the reports regarding Poco Lee’s arrest in a post on social media platform X. He stated that the dancer is on remand and outlined that the upcoming court session would serve as a plea hearing, where Poco Lee will declare his intention to plead either guilty or not guilty to the allegations against him.
His next court date is scheduled for the second week of September, during which he is expected to respond to the charges.
Reports of Poco Lee’s arrest first emerged on social media on August 18. The following day, rapper Ms Jorji made allegations that Poco Lee had attempted to sexually assault her and a friend.
Oluomo of Derby plans to attend the court proceedings to lend support to the Nigerian community in the UK. He urged the public to respect the legal process, emphasizing that every individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
