B-Red, a Nigerian singer and son of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has stated that his family is not involved in politics for financial gain. He emphasized that his family possesses generational wealth and is motivated by a desire to serve the community.

During an interview on the Echo Room podcast, B-Red expressed confidence in Nigeria’s potential for improvement if his father were to assume the presidency in the future. He said, “If my dad, Governor Ademola Adeleke, becomes the President of Nigeria, things will improve drastically. We don’t need politics for money; we have been rich for a long time. My family is only in politics to help.”

Despite his optimism about his father’s capabilities, B-Red admitted that he does not want Ademola Adeleke to pursue the presidency due to the associated pressures.

The Adeleke family has a notable political legacy, with the late Isiaka Adeleke and the current governor both having served as governors and senators.
