Ekiti State FRSC Promotes 104 Personnel
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Ekiti State Command has promoted and decorated 104 personnel, including 25 officers and 79 other ranks, during ceremonies held at the Command Headquarters and various Unit Commands throughout the state.
Sector Commander Sanya Adeoye led the decoration of the newly promoted members, congratulating them on their advancement and expressing gratitude to Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed for approving the promotions.
In his address, Adeoye urged the promoted personnel to justify the trust placed in them by exemplifying professionalism and dedication in their duties. He emphasized that the new ranks carry greater responsibilities and called on the personnel to uphold the principles established by the FRSC’s founding members, including a commitment to discipline, integrity, and adherence to professional standards.
The Sector Commander reiterated the importance of the Corps’ mission to reduce road traffic crashes and promote a sustainable road safety culture among Nigerians. He advised personnel not promoted during this cycle to remain diligent in their work, assuring them that their opportunities would come in due time.
As the festive season approaches, Adeoye also urged motorists and other road users to strictly adhere to traffic laws and regulations, particularly during the months traditionally associated with increased vehicular movement.
He concluded the ceremonies by wishing the newly promoted personnel continued success as they take on their new roles.
