Bandits abduct eight from Sokoto community, rustle livestock
Bandits attacked Saketa village in Dinawa Ward, Wurno Local Government Area of Sokoto State late Sunday night, abducting eight residents and stealing livestock.
The incident was reported by security analyst Bakatsine on social media platform X. He stated that the armed assailants entered the village around 1 a.m. and carried out their operation for several hours.
Residents attempted to resist the attackers; however, the bandits overpowered them before fleeing with the abducted individuals and animals.
