Businesswoman Describes Armed Robbery at Home

Bo Hairs, a notable entrepreneur, recounted a harrowing experience when armed robbers invaded her home in December 2022. The incident occurred while she was asleep, as one of the intruders allegedly forced his way into her bedroom after appearing behind her nanny.

Hairs reported that the robber claimed the house was surrounded and demanded cash, foreign currencies, and gold. She stated that the robbers threatened to harm her and her son if she did not comply with their demands.

Ultimately, Hairs surrendered approximately $7,000 in cash, nearly ₦2 million, as well as gold jewelry and other luxury items. The robbers also discovered two Rolex watches belonging to her and her husband.

Describing the incident, Hairs noted that the entire ordeal lasted less than 10 minutes. Throughout the robbery, she was primarily concerned for her son’s safety.

In addition, Hairs expressed unease regarding her nanny’s behavior during the event, suggesting that the nanny might have had prior knowledge of the armed individuals’ movements.

The experience has left her shaken, particularly due to the threats made against her and her child.
