Friendly: Super Eagles storm Moscow ahead of Russia showdown
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived in Moscow in preparation for their international friendly match against Russia, scheduled for Tuesday. The Nigerian delegation touched down in the Russian capital on Friday afternoon.
This matchup will mark only the second senior international encounter between Nigeria and Russia. The teams previously faced each other in June 2025 at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, ending in a 1-1 draw.
The Super Eagles aim to bounce back after a disappointing defeat to Guinea-Bissau in their last match. They are set to hold their first training session ahead of the friendly on Friday.
