Portugal reveal when next Ronaldo will play for national team after suspension

Portugal’s national football team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is poised to return to the squad following a brief suspension.
The Portuguese Football Federation announced on Saturday that the 41-year-old forward had been suspended for leaving the training camp during the UEFA Nations League last September. However, reports indicate that Ronaldo will only serve a one-month suspension.
If all goes as planned, Ronaldo could rejoin the national team during the international break in November.
Pedro Proença, president of the Football Federation, expressed optimism about Ronaldo’s return, stating that the federation, the coaching staff, and his teammates are eager to welcome him back. “I expect him back already during the November international break,” Proença said. “Cristiano is also willing to return. He’s the best of all time.”
Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
