Barcelona’s Rodri names strongest team in Europe
Manchester City midfielder Rodri identified Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the strongest team in Europe ahead of their Champions League match against Barcelona in Paris on Tuesday.
Speaking to Barcelona’s official media following Bayern Munich’s 5-2 victory over Real Betis in a La Liga match, the Spanish international expressed respect for PSG’s capabilities.
“Our full focus is now on Paris Saint-Germain, who may well be the strongest team in Europe at the moment,” Rodri stated.
He added that his team is ready for the challenge: “We will go toe-to-toe with them and see exactly where we stand. They will give it everything at home.”
PSG claimed their first Champions League title last season, defeating Arsenal in the final. The club aims to secure the prestigious trophy for the third consecutive time, having won the previous two editions.
