Some Nigerian artistes use voodoo to get hit songs – Odumodublvck claims
Rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely recognized as Odumodublvck, has claimed that some artists in the Nigerian music industry resort to voodoo practices to achieve hit songs.
During an appearance on the “Tea With Tay” podcast, Odumodublvck discussed the challenges of producing a successful track, noting that many artists struggle to find even one hit throughout their careers.
He commended prominent musicians Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido for their ability to consistently release popular songs over the years.

“Getting a hit song is not easy,” Odumodublvck said. “Sometimes people even do jazz to get one. That is why you see some artists crashing out when they struggle to get a hit.”
He emphasized the significance of sustained success in the industry, adding, “You have to respect that. Some artistes never get a hit song throughout their careers.”
