Argentina take decision on handing out Messi’s No.10 shirt
Head coach Lionel Scaloni has announced that no player will wear the No. 10 jersey during Argentina’s friendly matches in November. The former world champions are set to face Uruguay during this international window.
While regulations for friendly matches do not mandate that squad numbers must range from 1 to 11, the choice to leave the No. 10 shirt vacant symbolizes the team’s respect for their former captain.
