The visit aligns with Commissioner Bosso’s strategy to engage key stakeholders following his assumption of office. During the meeting, Bosso highlighted the crucial role of police-community partnerships in enhancing the state’s security framework.

“Traditional institutions play an essential role in grassroots mobilization and intelligence gathering,” Bosso stated, recognizing them as vital allies in combating crime. He sought the supportive blessings of Eze Imo and appealed for the Council’s ongoing collaboration in promoting effective community policing initiatives.

Bosso expressed confidence that this visit would reinforce the security alliance between the traditional leaders and the State Police Command, fostering a heightened sense of security among rural residents.

In his response, Eze Okeke commended Bosso for his proactive approach within his initial days in the role. He noted that the previous Commissioner of Police achieved significant success through collaboration with the Traditional Rulers Council and encouraged Bosso to nurture and enhance that partnership.
