NPFL: Nasarawa United will bounce back from Rangers’ defeat

Nasarawa United Seeks to Regain Form in NPFL

Nasarawa United’s technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, remains confident that his team will bounce back as they approach the final matches of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Following a promising home victory in their previous outing, the Solid Miners fell short on Sunday, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu. This loss marked only one win for Nasarawa United in their last six league games.

Mangut acknowledged the increasing difficulty of the competition in the league’s closing stages. “It’s a bitter pill to swallow,” he said. “We did our best, but it was not enough to secure a favorable result.”

He emphasized the importance of earning points as the season draws to a close. “Every point earned matters a lot at this stage,” Mangut added. “We will continue to fight until the end of the season to achieve our goals for this campaign.”
