NYSC opens portal for prospective corps members’ registration March 12

NYSC Opens Online Portal for Registration of Corps Members
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that its online registration portal will be accessible for prospective corps members from March 12 to March 18, 2026.
The agency made this announcement on its official social media platforms on Friday, detailing that only graduates whose names are included on the approved lists from their institutions’ Senate or Academic Boards will be eligible to register.
During the specified period, qualified graduates can complete their online mobilization registration. The NYSC emphasized that only candidates whose academic results have received the necessary approval and have been uploaded to the NYSC portal will be permitted to participate.
Prospective participants are encouraged to visit the official NYSC website and social media channels for detailed information and guidelines on the registration process. The agency also advised applicants to thoroughly verify their personal information prior to commencing the registration.
The NYSC underscored the importance of ensuring that the names on applicants’ records with the National Identity Management Commission match precisely with those listed on the Senate documentation and the NYSC portal. Graduates were also reminded to confirm consistency between their names and those shown on their certificates or statements of results.
Applicants are urged to use the Senate list verification portal to check their information before engaging in the online registration process.
