Osogbo, Nigeria — Osun United head coach Akinade Onigbinde expressed confidence in his team’s promotion prospects following a decisive 1-0 victory over Conference B leader Akwa United in a closely contested match on Saturday.
The win marked Osun United’s third consecutive game without defeat in the Nigeria National League (NNL). In discussing the match, Onigbinde praised his players for their determination and resilience.
“It’s not over until it’s over. We vowed to continue fighting for glory,” Onigbinde stated in an interview with Osun United’s media team.
Looking ahead, Osun United is set to face Calabar Rovers in their next match in Calabar.
