Stanley Boateng Appointed Assistant Coach for Nigeria’s D’Tigress
Stanley Boateng has been named the assistant coach of Nigeria’s senior women’s national basketball team, D’Tigress, according to the DAILY POST.
Boateng will work alongside head coach Rena Wakama as part of the coaching staff. The team is currently in the United States for a training tour in preparation for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup.
During this tour, D’Tigress will play friendly matches against WNBA teams, including the Los Angeles Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Indiana Fever.
The draw for the FIBA Women’s World Cup is scheduled to take place in Berlin, Germany, on Tuesday.
