Chelsea Signs Young Defender Calvin Diakite to Professional Contract
Chelsea Football Club announced that it has finalized a professional contract with young defender Calvin Diakite. The confirmation came from football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who shared the news on his official X account on Monday evening.
According to Romano, the agreement is valid until June 2028. Diakite, who has progressed through Chelsea’s youth teams, including the U21s and U18s, has also represented England at various youth levels. He made his debut for the England U17 team last year.
