Pep Guardiola to Decide Future at Season’s End
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola announced he will evaluate his future at the club after the conclusion of the current season.
Reports in the UK indicate that Guardiola may depart from the Etihad Stadium following Saturday’s Premier League match against Aston Villa. Manchester City’s title hopes were extinguished earlier this week following a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth.
When questioned about his plans beyond this summer, Guardiola remarked to Sky Sports, “I can say I have one more year on my contract and we have had many years of winning.” He added that any discussions regarding his future will involve the club’s chairman.
“We will talk and take a decision after we finish the season,” Guardiola stated. “I’m the happiest man on the planet to be at this club. It is extraordinary.”
