EPL: I feel sorry for Chelsea fans – Pedro
Chelsea forward Joao Pedro expressed regret for the club’s supporters following the Blues’ 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro contributed a goal in the match, marking his 15th Premier League score this season for Chelsea, excluding penalties. The game saw Nottingham Forest secure victory with a brace from Taiwo Awoniyi and an additional goal from Igor Jesus.
In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Pedro emphasized the need for reflection among the team, stating, “Everyone needs to have a look at themselves, me included.” He added, “I feel sorry for the fans.”
Chelsea will next face Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday.
