Haaland Expresses Disappointment as Arsenal Clinches Premier League Title
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has voiced his disappointment following Arsenal’s triumph in the Premier League, which saw them finish ahead of City.
In a statement, Haaland offered his congratulations to Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard for leading his team to the title this season. Both players are also teammates on the Norway national football squad.
“Of course, I am disappointed. It has been a long season, but ultimately not good enough for us. Losing out on the title,” Haaland stated on social media platform X.
He added, “When you get the most points, you deserve to win the league. Congratulations to Martin; it is well deserved. He deserves this trophy.”
