EPL table: Arsenal go five points clear of Man City with narrow Burnley win

Arsenal Approaches Title with Victory Over Burnley
Arsenal is one win away from securing its first Premier League title in 22 years following a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Entering their final home match of the season, the Gunners were two points ahead of second-place Manchester City. The win puts additional pressure on City, who face Bournemouth in an away match on Wednesday.
Manager Mikel Arteta named an offensively-minded lineup against the already-relegated Clarets. Arsenal controlled much of the first half, but only managed to convert a single opportunity, with a header from Kai Havertz providing the decisive goal.
That goal increased Arsenal’s total points to 82. Should Manchester City fail to win against Bournemouth, Arsenal will be crowned champions. Otherwise, the Gunners must clinch victory in their final match against Crystal Palace on Sunday to secure the title.
