EPL: We’re waiting for Arsenal to drop points – Rodri admits
Manchester City midfielder Rodri acknowledged that he and his teammates are monitoring Arsenal’s performance in the Premier League title race, hoping for an opportunity to capitalize on any points dropped by their rivals.
As it stands, Arsenal holds a two-point advantage over City, with both teams having two matches remaining in the season. Arsenal is set to host Burnley, while Manchester City will travel to Bournemouth on Tuesday. The season finale will see City face Aston Villa at home, while Arsenal will play away against Crystal Palace.
“Anything can happen; we just need them [Arsenal] to drop points,” Rodri said during a press conference at Wembley. “It can happen in the next game or the last game. If I were in their position, it wouldn’t be easy to finish the task. We have to be there pushing until the end.”
