Celtic Secures 2025/26 Scottish Premiership Title

LONDON—Celtic Football Club has clinched the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership title after a decisive 3-1 victory against Hearts at Paradise on Saturday afternoon. This triumph marks the club’s 56th championship title in its storied history.

Striker Kelechi Iheanacho, who plays for the Super Eagles, made an impactful appearance as he took the field in the second half, substituting for Sebastian Tounekti.

Hearts initially took the lead with a goal from Michael Steinwender in the 38th minute. However, Celtic equalized just before halftime with a penalty conversion by Arne Engels.

In the second half, Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand scored to secure the win for Celtic, solidifying their position at the top of the league standings with a total of 82 points, two points ahead of Hearts.
