OWERRI, Nigeria — Kun Khalifat FC has praised young talents Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma for their significant contributions to the team’s efforts to avoid relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Mmesoma played a crucial role in the club’s recent 2-1 victory over Kano Pillars, scoring a key goal during the match held Sunday at Dan Anyiam Stadium. The club acknowledged the duo’s impact on the team’s fight for survival through a social media post.
“Ajibola Emmanuel and Nnorom Mmesoma, our wonder kids, keep doing the impossible,” the team stated.
Following the victory, Kun Khalifat moved up to 17th place in the NPFL standings. The team now prepares to face Abia Warriors and Wikki Tourists in its final two matches of the season.
