Oyo State Police Arrest Two Suspected Kidnappers
Oyo State Police have apprehended two individuals suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of a 38-year-old man, Nathaniel Peter.
The incident occurred in Layeri Village, located near Ikoyi-Ile in the state. The Public Relations Officer for the Oyo State Police Command, Olayinka Ayanlade, disclosed the arrests in a statement on Sunday.
The suspects, identified as Muhammadu Abubakar and 17-year-old Jayun Danali, are currently in custody. Police are continuing their efforts to locate any additional suspects connected to the incident.
Ayanlade reported that preliminary investigations indicated that three armed men forced their way into Peter’s residence and abducted him from the premises. The arrested suspects are said to be cooperating with law enforcement and providing information pertinent to the ongoing investigation.
